Advertising and Commercial Sponsorship Policy
All advertisements and commercially sponsored publications are independent from editorial decisions. The Editorial Board does not endorse any product or service identified as an advertisement or promoted by a sponsor in Java Nursing Journal (JNJ). Editorial content and editorial decisions are not influenced or compromised by commercial or financial interests, advertising clients, sponsors, or any commercial arrangements.
The management of Java Nursing Journal (JNJ) reserves the right to decline or remove any advertisement that may damage the journal's reputation, conflict with its academic and professional values, or be considered inappropriate for the content hosted on the journal website.
The journal will not accept advertisements for products or services known to be harmful to health, including tobacco and alcohol products.
Advertisements must not be deceptive, misleading, false, or unverifiable. Advertisements should clearly identify the advertiser and the product, service, organization, or activity being promoted. Exaggerated, misleading, discriminatory, indecent, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate advertising content will not be accepted.
Once an advertisement has been published online, it may be withdrawn or removed from the journal website at any time at the request of the Editor-in-Chief or Publisher.
The journal will not permit treatment-specific, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other product-specific advertising campaigns to be deliberately targeted to a particular article solely because that article discusses the advertised product, treatment, condition, or related topic.
Advertisers may not influence article placement, search results, editorial recommendations, peer-review decisions, or the timing and location of published editorial content.
Requests for advertising outside the journal's standard advertising locations should be submitted to the editorial office. The editorial office will evaluate such requests and provide a final decision where appropriate.
Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable.
Java Nursing Journal (JNJ) does not permit advertisements to be presented in a manner that may reasonably cause readers to interpret them as independent editorial content.
Sponsored content, supplements, or other commercially supported materials, where applicable, must be clearly identified as such. If sponsored material has undergone a peer-review process different from that used for regular journal articles, or has not undergone external peer review, this should be clearly disclosed.
Editorial decisions, including manuscript acceptance, rejection, peer review, revision, and publication, will not be influenced by current or potential advertisers, sponsors, or marketing considerations.
Advertisers and sponsors have no control over the journal's editorial content, peer-review process, publication decisions, or the results of searches performed by users on the journal website.
Complaints or concerns regarding advertisements published or displayed by Java Nursing Journal (JNJ) may be submitted to the journal or publisher for review.
Where the journal uses third-party advertising services, such providers may use technologies such as cookies or web beacons in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. Any collection or processing of user information by third-party advertising services is subject to the relevant privacy policies and applicable laws.
